Priya D. Velu, M.D., Ph.D.

About

Dr. Priya Velu received her bachelor of arts degree in biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University in 2005, and then received her M.D., Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego in 2014. After which, she moved to the University of Pennsylvania where she was a resident in Clinical Pathology, and a post-doctoral research fellow in Precision Medicine and Molecular Genetic Pathology in the Department of Pathology at the University of Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology and is board eligible in molecular genetic pathology. She has joined the Pathology and Laboratory Mediicne Department as Assistant Professor on August 1, 2019.
