What I Do Care in maternal-fetal medicine requires empathy and a good understanding of patient values and concerns. My goal is to guide patients through complex pregnancy scenarios to help achieve the best outcomes for both parents and their babies. My clinical interests include maternal cardiac disease and malignancies in pregnancy, and fetal and genetic diagnosis. Why I Love My Work During medical school in Mexico, I directed women’s health activities in my assigned community and had great success achieving women’s health goals. For this reason, I chose to become an OB/GYN.
