Joining The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in 2009, Dr. Goularte established our Medical Weight Loss practice in 2016. She earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at The University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Following medical residencies and service in the Air Force, she returned to her Topeka hometown with a dedication to treating each patient as a unique individual. Board certified by The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and The American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Goularte's primary practice skill is attentive listening to her patients. This approach empowers her to devise personalized plans for every individual under her care.
