Dr. Shah Ahmad, MD

About

Shah Ahmad MD, MPH is a neurosurgeon, dual-trained in both Orthopedic & Neurosurgical spine, and is a member of the Indiana Spine Group. His expertise is in the management of degenerative diseases of the cervical and lumbar spine through minimally-invasive techniques, as well as deformity surgery and spinal cord tumors. Dr. Ahmad attended Cornell University, obtaining degrees in neuroscience and business. He achieved this MD and Masters of Public Health degrees at the University of Arizona. From there he went on to complete a seven-year Neurosurgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, one of the top training programs for complex and minimally-invasive spine surgery. He then completed a fellowship at Indiana Spine Group.
