At MD2 Chicago Gold Coast, Dr. Claudia Tellez, a triple board-certified internist and hematologist-oncologist, is known for her compassionate, expert care. With over 28 years at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, she specializes in blood disorders, hematologic malignancies, and breast cancer. Dr. Tellez earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and completed her residency and fellowship at Northwestern University’s McGaw Medical Center. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Feinberg School of Medicine, mentoring future physicians and contributing to the Breast Cancer Tumor Board. A native of Colombia, she founded the Lurie Cancer Center Hispanic Breast Cancer Clinic.
