The Idaho Health Institute (IHI), established by Bingham Memorial Hospital, is a resident physician clinic especially designed to provide high-quality, affordable care to uninsured and underinsured patients and those with Medicaid and Medicare insurances. The IHI has been developed to treat many of the common chronic conditions today’s adults face, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and chronic pulmonary disease. Using a team approach, two primary doctors work together with a resident physician team, specializing in the treatment of illnesses that don’t just go away, but require regular management.
