Dr. Steven Bernstein was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1994. Dr. Bernstein received his degree in medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1989. Following completion of his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, he trained as a radiology resident at North Shore University Medical Center in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Bernstein completed a post-graduate fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at New York University Medical Center. From 1996-2006, Dr. Bernstein served as the director of interventional radiology at Northern Westchester Hospital where he developed programs in interventional oncology including radio frequency ablation and chemoembolization.
