Yu-wen Chang, DO, PhD

About

Dr. Chang is a board-certified family medicine doctor. Her areas of focus include preventive care, obesity medicine, and management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes. Other highlights of her practice include women’s health, adolescent care, geriatric care, and urgent care. She is an advocate for her patients and empowers them to care for their own health. She partners with each patient to develop a comprehensive, compassionate care plan personalized to individual needs. In addition to her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree, she has a PhD in neuroscience. Dr. Chang has conducted research on neuroinflammation associated with nerve injury. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
