Dr. Jane Varner, MD

Dr. Jane Varner grew up in Berkeley, California. She currently serves as the Medical Director for Primary care at Cottage Health. Dr. Varner received her B.S. in Biology from UCLA and her M.D from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine, including a year as chief resident, at Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. She served 3 consecutive terms on the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group Board of Directors, acting as vice chair of the board and chair of the governance committee. Dr. Varner is active in the California Medical Association.
