Dr. Sarah Harrington is a Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in the Department of Internal Medicine, the Director of the Division of Palliative Medicine, and the Medical Director of the UAMS Palliative Care Program. Dr. Harrington specializes in palliative care at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, UAMS Medical Center, and Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. After receiving her medical degree from UAMS, Dr. Harrington completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, VA. She has practiced at UAMS and CAVHS since 2008.
