Meer Akbar Ali, M.D., is an associate professor in the department of General Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology at UAMS. Dr. Ali joins UAMS from Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he practiced as a gastroenterologist. Dr. Ali is an advanced endoscopist experienced in many GI conditions including but not limited to, liver disease, problems related to the pancreas, stomach, esophagus, as well as Dysphagia, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's and Fatty Liver disease. Dr. Ali is also skilled at endoscopies and colonoscopies.
